Support System FAQ
Solution I can not login to create a support ticket

You do not need to login to create a support ticket. Simply click "Submit a ticket" icon on the left of the support.hostingoperations.com home page.

How does your ticket system work?

After you submit a ticket, a notification email with the password is sent to the email address you entered of the ticket submission form. As long as you keep using that email address for all future support tickets; the password will remain the same. Our reply will be sent to this email address as well.

How can I follow-up to an existing ticket?

Use your email address and the password from the notification email to log into your ticket at http://support.hostingoperations.com and add any further details.

I am not able to follow-up to a ticket, your system is giving me "Permission denied" error message.

That is a cache issue. When you click the link in the ticket email, the support system loads the page for your ticket. But if you're not logged in, it gives the "permission denied" message, along with a login box. After you successfully log in, your browser may show you the page from cache, which includes the "permission denied" message again.

To fix the trouble you may want to simply hit reload to get rid of "permission denied" error message. Alternatively we recommend to login at the support main page, then click "view tickets", and locate the ticket you want to follow-up to.

I am unable to login; I keep getting redirected back to the login screen

Your browser's cache settings may be preventing the updated page from being displayed. If you are redirected to a login form, try pressing your browser's Refresh button.

The issue is not resolved, but you closed the ticket. Why?

Tickets are usually closed after a support technician responds, either because the issue is resolved or we are awaiting further information from you. After you follow-up to a ticket (see above), ticket will be automatically re-opened and we will be glad to assist you further.

How can I review my ticket-history?

To view your ticket history, please do the following:

  1. Visit http://support.hostingoperations.com
  2. Login using the email address and password (see above).
  3. Click "View tickets".
I do not remember the passwords for all my tickets

If you didn't change the ticket password, it should be the same from ticket to ticket. If you don't remember it, there is a lost password link:

http://support.hostingoperations.com/index.php?_m=core&_a=lostpassword

Once you are logged into http://support.hostingoperations.com, you can change the password to whatever you want and each new ticket submitted with that same email will then have that password.

I am able to login, but I do not see all the tickets I submitted

Please note that the support system works by email address, so if you open tickets from multiple email accounts, each will have a different history and different passwords.

How long are tickets being stored in the ticket system?

Tickets are stored in the support system as long as possible, because they allow us to track customer requests easily and therefore respond to customers rapidly.
